Jingit: Giving back with Box Tops

While I had lost most of my faith in Jingit, an online and mobile earning program based on watching ads, they have resurfaced a little bit in my book with their new partnership with Box Tops for Education. I just saw on their Facebook page that they have introduced new earning opportunities for both cash and box tops, so I jumped at the chance.

I was able to watch 4 videos, worth $.30 and 4 box tops each. I selected the middle school I went to as a child and at the end of each video, it noted that 4 box tops were being donated for my efforts. It was super simple!

This appears to be a partnership with Wal-Mart, running last week through "the middle of the month" and has already helped donate 500,000 box tops to participating schools. I have to say, I'm not a fan of Wal-Mart for a lot of their, shall we say, policies, but they do seem to stand out in community involvement, so I applaud this effort at least. They have check-in deals where you can scan certain items and earn cash that way too.

To join Jingit, click here and simply link in your Facebook account. Jingit allows you to watch videos and answer a few questions at the end, then transfer your money to a debit card or buy music online. I got my Jingit card a few months ago and have not had any problems with it. I have a low balance on it constantly, so it's not like "wow I can buy dinner with my schmancy new card!" but it's sort of like "hey I could use a candy bar and I can pay for it with this decent card."

If you're already on Jingit, visit this link to earn Box Tops for your chosen school.
