TrueBody Soap {Review and Earth Day Giveaway}

Scandle Candle: More than just a candle {Review}

When I was in college, my roommates got me hooked on candles, of all things. We were obsessed. We raided the shelves of Marshall's and Yankee Candle alike looking for new flavors. On winter nights our rooms smelled like a bakery and on spring days they smelled like a garden. So when I was approached for a review by a candle company, I was eager to accept.

But this has turned out to be more than your typical candle. The Scandle Candle is unique in that it is designed to be both a scented candle and a moisturizing massage oil in one. I received the limited edition Cherry Blossom scented travel tin candle. The candle comes in a small recycled tin, fitted with a silicone "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" bracelet so you can pick it up when the candle warms (though it only burns 2 degrees above body temperature) and as a reminder to be green when you eventually finish using the candle. The candle itself is made of all natural ingredients, like shea butter, cosmetic grade soy butter, jojoba, vitamin E, and body safe fragrance or essential oils. They are a member of PETA's Caring Consumer Program and are cruelty free and vegan.

Punchtab: I'll pay you to hang out with me!

So throughout my sweepstaking and blogging journey, I've come across lots of blogs and websites with this little pop-up that says something like "You've earned 100 points" and I'm like "for what?" and Punchtab is like "FOR PRIZES! YEAAAAAHHH!" or at least that's how I read it when I clicked on it. You may see it differently. It's a perspective thing.


Anywho, I googled the hell out of it to figure out a little more about it and had a hey-why-not moment so here it is, Punchtab rewards on my blog! 


Here's how Punchtab works (or should work...it's been picky since I changed my domain):

• I like you being here. It's fun for me and I hope for you. So just for being here, you earn 100 points. If you were logged into your Facebook when you got here, you probably saw the pop-up. It's probably the one exception to the "I hate pop-ups!" rule everyone knows.
• I like to hear back from you. So for your first comment every day, you earn 100 points.
• I have a Twitter. Sometimes I use it. Tweet about my punchtab loyalty program and you earn 100 points. Throw in #potatochipcats if you want...hint hint.
