Connecticut's Gardens Day is June 23

My state may be small, but it's home to many beautiful and unique gardens, fourteen of which have joined to form Connecticut's Historic Gardens. Through this partnership, people have the opportunity to explore these enchanted places to experience a variety of garden styles and time periods.

On Sunday, June 23, the fourteen historic garden sites will host special events and activities celebrating their gardens for the 10th Annual CT's Historic Gardens Day. If you're from Connecticut, chances are you won't have to go far to find an amazing site to visit, or, for those a little further away, plan a daytrip to as many gardens as you can squeeze in.

To learn more, click here for links to member sites and their CT's Historic Gardens Day activities. I have only been to 3 of the 14 listed, so I'm looking forward to seeing something new. Last year, I visited the New London Historical Society, pictured above. Don't forget your camera!
